I've been surfing for about 30 years and attempted my first wooden board when I was 15 (I had a fascination with things made of wood).
Growing up on the NSW far north coast (Australia) I was being spoilt by great surfing from Ballina to Byron Bay. After attending university in Queensland with intentions of becoming a manual arts teacher (wood work) I discovered these newly acquired skills cold be put to even better use. After designing a board with a rigid structure but still very strong and light I started making my unique lightweight boards.

Until recently I have only been making surfboards for myself and other interested surfers (usually those who have seen me round the traps surfing my boards).
I have now decided (through popular demand) that a custom board can be ordered directly from me via this web site.
I prefer to be contacted by phone or in person (if in Queensland) to discuss your preferences regarding style and material.

These days it is my ambition to create a living from doing something I thoroughly enjoy, constructing quality wooden surfboards.
